Dr. Steven Musick

Dr. Musick graduated with honors from the University of Missouri and also excelled at the University of Missouri-Columbia Medical School. He achieved “honors” recognition in nearly all clinical rotations. He was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, an honor bestowed on those who demonstrate leadership and academic excellence.

In 1989, Dr. Musick graduated cum laude. He then returned to his hometown of St. Louis, where he completed a three-year Internal Medicine residency in outstanding fashion.

In 1992, he passed the American Board of Internal Medicine certifying examination and became a Board Certified Internist. However, dermatology was his calling. Dr. Musick returned to the University of Missouri-Columbia and completed a second three-year residency, this one in Dermatology.

In 1995, he passed the American Board of Dermatology certifying examination and became a Board Certified Dermatologist. He re-certified in 2004 and 2014. Dr. Musick shared a practice with Dr. James Gregory for 13 years. On July 1, 2008 Dr. Musick opened his own practice, Musick Dermatology & Advanced Clinical Spa. Dr. Musick provides state-of-the-art medical and surgical care for all disorders of the skin, hair, and nails.

Angela Nauman-Musick, Nurse Practitioner

Angela Nauman-Musick, APRN is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner.

Angela graduated from Barnes College of Nursing in St. Louis, MO in 1994 with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing Degree. She worked at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit until 1998. She moved to Farmington, MO for several years and went on to Graduate School to pursue her Master’s in Nursing Degree and Family Nurse Practitioner Certification. In May 1999, she graduated from Southeast Missouri State University, Cape Girardeau, MO with academic distinction in the Graduate School and full honors.

Angela is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She remained in Farmington, MO for a year and practiced with Dr. Darrell Griffin at Southeast Missouri Dermatology. After moving back home to St. Louis in 2000, she worked with Dr. Musick at Gregory and Musick Dermatology for 8 years until opening Musick Dermatology & Advanced Clinical Spa in July of 2008.

After years of practicing medical dermatology, Angela found a passion for aesthetic dermatology and has since become the lead injector at Musick Dermatology. Angela takes pride in remaining at the forefront of aesthetic trends to provide her patients with top-of-the-line results. She and her husband, Dr. Musick, enjoy working together to provide the highest quality of medical and aesthetic dermatological care.

elizabeth ridley, physician assistant

Elizabeth is a Board Certified Physician Assistant and a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician’s Assistant. Elizabeth graduated Magna Cum Laude from Saint Louis University in May 2006 with a Bachelors degree of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. She then attended Saint Louis University’s Physician Assistant Program and graduated with a Masters of Medical Science in December 2008. Since graduating, Elizabeth was employed as an Orthopedic Physician Assistant with Barnes Jewish Hospital from February 2009 to December 2009. She then practiced with Dr. Helen Kim-James at Chesterfield Valley Dermatology in Chesterfield, Missouri from January 2010 to September 2012. She joined Musick Dermatology & Advanced Clinical Spa in October 2012.

Lisa boget, physician assistant

Lisa Boget is a skilled Physician Assistant with a solid background in dermatology and urgent care settings, serving the needs of her patients of all ages. Lisa holds a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Kennesaw State University. In 1997 Lisa began her working career as a Physician Assistant for Internal Medicine at Community Health and Emergency Services Inc. in Cairo, IL. She then went on to find a passion in dermatology as she worked at WellSprings Dermatology in Paducah, KY from 2003 to 2020 and Pinnacle Dermatology in Decatur, IL from 2022 to 2023. As of 2024, we are happy to have Lisa join our team at Musick Dermatology & Advanced Clinical Spa.

Lisa’s focus includes in-office surgical procedures, treating chronic skin conditions, skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, and ongoing medical and general dermatology.

Laura mckinzie, nurse practitioner

Laura McKinzie is a Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned her M.S.N. with honors from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2012, following a B.S.N. with honors in 2009. Laura is a licensed RN in Illinois and holds FNP certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Laura has over a decade of experience, previously working at Mid America Plastic Surgery in Edwardsville, IL. Laura specializes in skin surgeries such as excisions and C&Ds. Her prior experience includes a role as a Staff Nurse at Barnes Jewish Hospital. Laura also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, offering educational support to undergraduate nursing students. Her clinical rotations included Internal Medicine, Emergency Care, Dermatology, Pediatrics, and Women’s Health.

Laura McKinzie, FNP-BC, is a dedicated healthcare professional with a focus on dermatology. We are happy to welcome Laura to the Musick Dermatology & Advanced Clinical Spa team as of January 2024.

gillian russell, nurse practitioner

Gillian Russell, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in dermatology. She earned her RN and BSN from Goldfarb School of Nursing and has been an integral part of Musick Dermatology & Advanced Clinical Spa for over four years, working as a clinical dermatology nurse while pursuing her Nurse Practitioner degree at Maryville University. Now transitioning into her role as a provider, Gillian will be training directly under Dr. Musick and our other medical providers to continue delivering exceptional dermatologic care. Her dedication, experience, and passion for patient-centered treatment make her a valued addition to our provider team.

RACHELLE (shelly) BANDINO, Physician Assistant

Rachelle Bandino, PA-C is a certified Physician Assistant with over seven years of medical experience and three years of clinical practice, with specialty training in dermatology. She joins Musick Dermatology & Advanced Clinical Spa in April 2025, bringing expertise in treating a wide range of skin conditions including acne, rosacea, psoriasis, skin cancer, etc. Rachelle is skilled in procedures such as biopsies, suturing/repair, liquid nitrogen, and has a special interest in skin cancer screening and inflammatory skin diseases. Her background includes both in-clinic and teledermatology care, and she is passionate about providing accessible, patient-centered dermatologic care to patients of all ages.

Rachelle holds a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from UT Health San Antonio and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Texas A&M University. Her warm, approachable style and commitment to excellence make her a valuable asset to our team and a trusted provider for patients of all ages.
